At Swallow Barn you are welcome to bring your own bicycles as we can provide secure storage for them, otherwise there are two bicycles and helmet provided for you to use. Low Ham and the surrounding area boast excellent cycling with lots of variations of terrain including hills, levels and off road routes, plenty for the serious cyclist or just enough for a leisurely afternoon ride. If you prefer walking there are plenty of footpaths to walk and we can supply local waterproof pocket maps so you can find your way around whilst you are here.

Your Dog is welcome

You are welcome to bring your well behaved dog on holiday with you to Swallow Barn.  The garden at Swallow is large and securely fenced, making it easy to let your dog wander and relax in the garden without worry.

As well as lots of local footpaths to walk, the local moors have endless droves, which are perfect for off road walking.
At Burnham on Sea, just less than an hour away, there is a dog friendly beach with vast expanses of dunes and  sand that you and your dog can walk and enjoy the sea air.
